Sexual orientation is not always black and white.

Shakespeare and Jesus (and MANY psychologists) have observed how both nature and nurture influence behavior.

Replacing "great" for "gay" (and putting my commentary in brackets) Skakepeare states:

"Some are born gay (nature), some achieve gayness (personal choice), and some have gayness thrust upon them (Hollywood indoctrination, trauma, etc)."

Likewise replacing "eunuchs" for "gays" (except the last eunuch reference that refers to a personal choice of actions) Jesus stated in Matthew 19:12:

"For there are some gays, which were so born from their mother's womb (nature): and there are some gays, which were made gays of men (Hollywood indoctrination, trauma, etc): and there be gays, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake (coming out and making a personal choice to be abstinent). He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. (Nobody is going to be forced to heaven.)"
