Hello!
Just popping in quickly this month with some Christmas cake and a little reminder of a few upcoming ALSSI dates for January.
First, our team will be going on a holiday break beginning right after our Live Friday Chat, December 20. We’re looking forward to a little down time, and hope you’ll get some, too! 2025 promises to be a busy year for us with the release of our upcoming book, so we’re going to take this opportunity to relax and get ready.

Exponent II magazine is hosting a Zoom launch party for our collaborative/contest issue Jan 9. Click the link for more details and to register for this event.
Our first Say More of 2025 will land in inboxes January 9. If you haven’t subscribed, we hope you will! If you haven’t contributed to an issue yet, we hope you’ll do that too! Reminder that submitting a piece for publication is another way to get a paid subscription to ALSSI. You’ll find guidelines here.
Our next ALSSI Book Club meeting will be January 16. We’ll be reading Living on the Edge of the Inside: A Survival Guide, by Christian Kimball. You can register here, and find upcoming dates and book selections by clicking the events tab at our website.
Our next LIVE-live Friday Chat will be held on Zoom January 24. No registration required—simply show up for our usual chat at 10:00 am mtn, and click the link to join the meeting.
