There are hazards to having majored in Business Management versus a cool liberal arts major, like English or Humanities. And one of those hazards is that I never had the chance to study amazing authors, like Flannery O’Connor. Last weekend I was a bit under the weather (thanks shingles vax!) so I spent the day reading some of her short stories. Susan recently told me her favorite college class studied southern women writers like O’Connor and others. Here’s a text of ours:
