“Grace isn't about God creating humans and flawed beings and then acting all hurt when we inevitably fail and then stepping in like the hero to grant us grace—like saying, ‘Oh, it's OK, I'll be the good guy and forgive you.’ It's God saying, ‘I love the world too much to let your sin define you and be the final word. I am a God who makes all things new.’”
— Nadia Bolz-Weber, Pastrix: The Cranky, Beautiful Faith of a Sinner Saint
The first episode of Season 6 drops this coming Tuesday!
We’ve enjoyed our break, but there’s always more to talk about. We have plenty of conversations in the works. Please join us!
We’re hoping to feature even more women’s voices this season. If you have something to say—about an episode, an experience, or whatever’s on your mind—we’d love to hear from you! Leave us a voicemail by clicking on the red phone at atlastshesaidit.org, and we may share it in an upcoming episode.
New this season…
Providing opportunities for our listeners to connect and share is important to us, but there are only so many hours in a day. We’re excited to announce we’ve assembled an amazing team of women to help! We’ll be making introductions so you can get to know them soon. Together they’ll be helping answer email, manage social media, host retreats, and facilitate online discussion meetings. There are a lot of moving parts, and having a team will allow Cynthia and Susan to stay focused on the podcast while the community aspect of ALSSI continues to grow.
Speaking of retreats, we don’t have dates yet, but we’re anticipating a pop-up or two in 2023, in addition to a big fall gathering. Stay tuned for details!
If it’s January, it must also be time for
our next Ladies’ Night In!
This month we’ll be discussing Faith Crisis, so whether you’re in one, you’ve had one, you know someone who’s having one, or you just want to know more, we hope you’ll join us. You can share or just listen—all are welcome!

That’s all for now. Thanks for your ongoing support! We’re continually humbled by the abundance of goodness and generosity with which our efforts are met. It feels like every puny episode of ALSSI gets magnified a hundredfold by the listeners who show up and give their hearts to the conversation. We can’t tell you how good it feels to find we’re never alone in our experiences.
Much love to all in this new year!
