May was crazy.
Now it’s June.
How can it be
so late so soon?!

Hello!

It’s my turn to share a glimpse into a few of my good-things-of-the-moment. Our book tour took up an entire month for me—I traveled to Utah and stayed for most of May to be there for 4 events, then Cynthia came to Arizona and we traveled to Denver together. It was so fun hanging out in real-time for a change, rather than just mic-time! And it was great seeing so many of you. It felt like a month long party. At one of the events I remember saying, “I think everyone should write a book! This has been an amazing experience! I give it 5 stars.”

Now that all the hoopla is in the rearview, I stand by my review.

I’ll tell you something else I learned: Quince’s 100% European Linen Pants are my new go-to for travel and schmoozing and friending and restauranting and book-blabbing and churching and pretty much everything else. I love these enough that I’ve bought 3 colors! And if you know me, you know it takes seriously-above-average pants to get me out of my yoga pants.

I’ll never stop saying thank you to ALL THE AMAZING WOMEN who helped us put together our events (you know who you are!), and to everyone who showed up to support and eat cookies with us. My testimony today is: I know that friends are True. Please note my Quince linen pants in black are also true.

Speaking of things I know are true,

if I’m not moving … I’m dead. Pretty sure I said that at more than one book event, talking specifically about faith, but life keeps bringing me surprises and ever since we decided to spend Season 10 (July 15!!) talking about change and transitions, I feel like the Universe has re-devoted itself to reminding me that change and growth are basic requirements of life on this planet.
