Listened to this on my walk! Manna to my soul. I’m excited to watch Sound of Music and Mary Poppins with my little girls now. I LOVE your interpretation on it. We don’t have any Disney stuff in our house b/c I don’t like their portrayal of the female body and all the dead mothers. It was nice to find someone else who noticed all the missing moms too.

Hearing this conversation gave me chills and was a spiritual experience. I love the discussion of the journey of discovering God for ourselves. I grew up assuming distance from and minimalization of Heavenly Mother was normal and what God wanted. But when I hear this dialogue, I feel that developing our knowledge of and relationships with Heavenly Mother is essential to bless the world and that we as women in the church are capable of doing this. I love the encouragement to stand up and be confident in ourselves as women in the church who should have an equal central role in the structures of the church. Carol Lynn is a remarkable example to me and the voice I need.
